HISTORY
The history of the Company is the history of the passion of a man for the city in which he has always lived.
Giovanni Alfier was born in Venice, in 1959. His parents were from the nearby region Friuli Venezia Giulia. Once he became a surveyor, he started working with his father in the family’s restoration company.
The desire for a personal and professional growth, led Giovanni to start his own company in 1984. Giovanni’s dream is to “make a difference” using traditional techniques handed down over the centuries, alongside modern technologies.
Alfier gains the trust of experienced master builders and important clients, including religious institutes and 4 and 5 star hotels. Alfier affirms himself citywide and internationally thanks to the restoration of the Basilica dei Frari and Basilica della Salute, to name a few.
VISION
Alfier, with its restoration works, is contributing to the conservation of the historic and artistic Venetian heritage.

Alfier’s logo is the perfect synthesis of our values.
The quadrilobe is the source of inspiration. It is the gothic frame frequently used to adorn the windows of the historic venetian palazzos, like Palazzo Ducale. The quadrilobe assumes the form of ancient ornament, while the adjacent circles shape the infinite symbol.
The combination recalls both the temporal dimension in which Alfier operates and its artistic vocation, summarizing in one image the vision of the company.
The chosen colors emphasize the sophistication and the luxury with the burgundy, the holiness and the glory with the golden yellow. Together the two colors convey elegance and knowledge to fulfill any need, even the most demanding.
